The Board of a non-profit institution is vital to the health of the organization. The Board of Trustees of the BCO is committed to bringing music of the highest quality to our audience. To do so, the Board performs several critical functions:

• Provides effective strategic planning
• Ensures adequate financial resources and management
• Selects, supports and evaluates the performance of the music director and administrative staff
• Serves as an advocate for the Orchestra in the community
