Featured Soloist: Kathleen O'Donnell, flute

Kathleen O'Donnell has been principal flute of the Boston Classical Orchestra since 1987 and has held the same post with the Boston Ballet since 1988. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music and Boston University, she substituted with the Boston Symphony Orchestra on their European tours in 1991, 1993 and 1998 and their South American tour in 1992. From 1978-1981 she lived in Brazil, where she was a member of the Orquestra Sinfónica Estadual de São Paulo.

Ms. O'Donnell played Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G major with BCO violinist Sandra Stecher Kott and fellow BCO flutist Alan Weiss on April 15 and 17, 2005.
