Free Concerts With Boston Classical Orchestra

Conductor Steven Lipsitt invites you to attend a free concert on Saturday, October 20 at 3pm. The Boston Children’s Chorus will sing American song settings by Aaron Copland, and violinist Lucia Lin with cellist Owen Young will perform Brahms’ beautiful Double Concerto. During the one hour performance, Steve will host Lucia and Owen in an informal question and answer session with the audience. Please join us!

Free For All’s Mission Statement:
The Free for All Concert Fund, an independent grant-making public charity, ensures that everyone from the Boston region — children, adults, families — will have regular and permanent access to the rich world of classical, orchestral music, and related cultural events.

What does Free For All stand for? In their own words:
Our dream is to reach all people — including but not limited to those who otherwise would not have access to such experiences. Free for All’s funding will plant musical seeds year-round in venues large and small, traditional and innovative, reaching neighborhoods across Boston and people of all ages, races, cultures, and socio-economic spheres. We aim for classical music to no longer be perceived as, or actually be limited to, the elite, but broadly appreciated and attended by residents and visitors to the region.
