Are the musicians professionals?
The Boston Classical Orchestra draws its musicians from the extraordinary
community of professional freelance instrumentalists in the Greater Boston
area. When not playing with Boston Classical, these men and women can
be found performing with Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Ballet, the Boston
Pops Esplanade Orchestra, the Rhode Island Philharmonic, Emmanuel Music,
and various chamber ensembles, as well as teaching music students at New
England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, the
Longy School of Music, and the Rivers Music School.
Where are BCO concerts performed?
BCO concerts are conveniently located at historic Faneuil Hall (Congress
Street in Boston), within a block of four MBTA stops:
- Green Line: Gov Ctr. stop
- Blue Line: Aquarium & State Street Stop
- Orange Line: Haymarket Stop
Is parking available?
Special discounted parking is available at the nearby 75 State Street
Garage (enter garage on Broad Street). Bring your parking ticket to the
concert to be stamped for $2 discount.

5. Tickets are sold at the door at the concert. But to guarantee a ticket,

Are discounts available?
- Yes! Seniors (age 65+), students, and members of the MA Teachers
Association are eligible for $3 discount off individual ticket prices
(not subscriptions).
- Any card carrying college student or child under 18 can save 50%
on a “C”ticket! Just $16 each. Just call (617) 423-3883

Is food permitted in the hall?
No, food is not permitted in the hall.
Is food sold in the hall?
No, food is not sold. However, feel free to enjoy the wonderful fine restaurants
and casual eateries at Faneuil Hall Marketplace before or after the concert.
Are cameras or recording devices permitted?
Cameras and audio/video recordings are not permitted.
How long is the concert?
The concerts vary in length, usually 2 hours or less. To get information
regarding specific concert lengths please call the BCO at 617-423-3883.
Is Faneuil Hall wheelchair accessible?
BCO is dedicated to providing access to audience members with disabilities.
Faneuil Hall is wheelchair accessible. If you require assistance with
seating, please let us know. Large print programs are available at no
additional cost.

How can I become a BCO volunteer?
The BCO offers many opportunities depending on your level of commitment
and time to give back. Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- Distribute flyers in your community
- Spread the word through personal contact, networking events, and
social gatherings.
- Enjoy a concert with groups of 10 or more from your employer, church,
or professional association and enjoy a 20% - 30% discount. Nonprofit
groups can resell tickets at full value and earn money for their organization.
- Assist with social and fundraising events. The BCO offers a number
of intimate social and fundraising events each year for audiences and
donors to mingle with members of the orchestra. Help us with the planning
or at the event itself.
- Serve as an usher or box office volunteer at a concert. The ushers
who help you find your seats in Faneuil Hall are all volunteers, and
they get to listen to the concert for free. Friday evenings you'll need
to arrive at Faneuil Hall by 6 pm; Sundays, plan to arrive at 1 pm.
Business dress is required.
- Promote us with the business community. Help us identify corporate
sponsors or sell program ads.
- Serve on a Committee. Join one of our standing board committees and
provide your help and ideas on an ongoing basis.
